Himachal Pradesh (HP) University in Shimla has issued the notification for the entrance exam 2009. It is conducted for admission in the following Ayurvedic / Homeopathic undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered in its various afflaited colleges / institutes for the session 2009.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can obtain the application form and information brochure (For BHMS / BAMS or MD / MS ) available for sale the University Examination Enquiry-cum-Sale Counter No.1, Library Building (Basement) Summer Hill, Shimla-5 during working hours on payment of Rs 1000 for General Class & other categories, and Rs 500 for SC/ST categories only. One can also obtain the application form and information brochure by post by sending a request letter addressed to the Deputy Registrar (Entrance Tests) H.P. University, Shimla-171005 accompanied by crossed IPOs / Bank Draft amounting to Rs 1050 for General & other categories, and Rs 550 for SC / ST for BAMS / BHMS program or Rs 1100 for General & other categories, and Rs 600 for SC/ST categories for MD / MS program drawn in favour of the Finance Officer, H.P. University, Shimla-5. Thereafter, all the duly filled application form must reach the reach in the office of Deputy Registrar (Entrance Tests), Room No.10, Ground Floor, Administrative Block, H.P. University, Shimla-171005 on or before the last date mentioned. In case of applying for obtaining the prospectus by post, candidates are requested to write “Request for BAMS /BHMS Prospectus-2009” or “Request for MD/MS (Ayurveda) Prospectus-2009” (according to the choice of program) and also mention complete mailing address in CAPITAL LETTERS along with the telephone number.
