IIFM Joint MBAs in Collaboration with US Institute

Mumbai: Indian Institute of Financial Management (IIFM), in a joint venture with the Thomas Jefferson School of Law (TJSL) and the American Academy of Financial Management (AAFM), has decided to offer joint MBAs in its Mumbai campus.
 
The first of the MBAs is a two year MBA plus MS degree in Business Law in partnership with the Thomas Jefferson School of Law (TJSL), ranked amongst the top 10 law schools in the world. The second degree is offered in collaboration with the American Academy of Financial Management (AAFM), the largest financial education institution in the world. The degree is an MBA combined with globally upheld certifications of CWM (Chartered Wealth Management) and E-commerce.
 
Jagmohan Bhanver, CEO of IIFM said that IIFM is the only institute in India to have tied up with such prestigious institutes for a joint degree. The classes for the proposed program would commence from the month of July. Initially, a total of 20 students will be selected for the first batch. Students having any commonly accepted entrance scores can apply for admission. The lectures would be 100% video-conferenced by world renowned faculty teaching at the partner US institutes. Moreover, classroom lectures by professors from institutes like SP Jain and IIMs would be organized.
 
As per the sources IIFM has tied up with blue chip corporates in banking, FMCGs, automobile, pharma, BPO, manufacturing for students aspiring a career in India. After the successful completion of the program students would be awarded degree certificates from IIFM and the partner US institute, and would be availed with career services cells to help place them in the best and most well paid jobs globally.
