Interested candidates can download the application form and information brochure from the website: http://www.iitg.ernet.in. Application form and information brochure can also be obtained from the Deputy Registrar (Academic), Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, Guwahati - 781 039, Assam in person or by post. To obtain the application form by post applicants are required to send a request with a self-addressed unstamped envelope (24cm x 15cm size). Request for form must be sent in an envelope super-scribed with ‘Request for PhD Application form’. Thereafter, the completely filled application form a along with the essential enclosures and a DD of Rs 150 for General Category and Rs 75 for SC / ST / PD candidates, drawn in any nationalized bank and payable at Guwahati in favor of Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati should be addressed to Head of the concerned Department/Centre, IIT Guwahati, Guwahati - 781039, so as to reach on or before the last date mentioned. Applicants are instructed to write the words “Application for PhD admission” should be written on the top of the envelope for sending the completed form.
