Kakinada: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTU-K) is likely to offer B Tech in Petroleum Engineering course from the ensuing academic session 2009.
The decision to introduce the new program was taken by executive council of the University in November 08, keeping in mind the ever increasing demand for specialists in exploration and production of petroleum and its products.
Besides the B Tech program, the School of Management Studies of university would also offer full time Master of Business Administration (MBA). The MBA course is also being launched with a similar outlook.
