Mangalore University Announces Revised Exams Dates

Mangalore: Mangalore University has postponed the degree exams dates because of the Lok Sabha elections scheduled to be held on April, 30, 2009. According to the new announcement, the examination will take place form May 2 to June 3, which was earlier scheduled to be held from April 20.
 
On April 30, the jurisdiction of the university will be polled. The varsity has four law colleges and 17 colleges of education and two constituent colleges, which falls under its jurisdiction. As per the sources the rectification made in the time table is inapplicable to autonomous colleges as they conduct their own examinations.
 
Usually, the varsity conducts all the degree examination by mid May and announces the results between June 15 and June end. But due to the changes made in the schedule of examination the results are likely to be announced by end of June.
