Chaudhary Charan Singh University, popularly known as CCS University was established in 1966. Formerly known as Meerut University, it was named after Chaudhary Charan Singh, the late Prime Minister of India. The University, which celebrated its silver jubilee in 1991, gradually developed as a premiere educational institution in the country.
CCS University is one of the premier educational institutions of the country. It is located in a vast, beautiful and pollution-free campus. The university has been awarded with a B+ certification by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Bangalore.
