CCSU Meerut To Create Web Page For Each Student

Meerut: Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU) is launching a web page containing the details of academic performance and attendance of each student. Such a step might not be welcomed by students but parents are sure like it. Parents and guardians of the students will need to just log in to know the results and other details of their children.

S.C. Piplani, Official Spokesperson of CCSU, has said that be it the daily attendance, marks scored in internal exams, tests or anything related to academic performance of students, the parents will now be able to keep themselves updated on all such fronts. He also added that there would be a separate web page of every student that will contain a complete data bank of his/her academic records and would be updated regularly.

Further, the new exercise, according to the University officials, is the first of its kind in the country. According to the statement of Mr Pilani, just assume that one has to appear for an interview and the employer asked to come with the final year marksheet that is still to be issued by the University. In such a case, one just needs to log on the web page to take out the marksheet or certificates directly from there. As per sources, initially, the University administration has decided to create the web page for first year students of postgraduate and undergraduate courses.

Mr Pilani also mentioned that they have already initiated the exercise of creating the web page. This will be available on the website from the upcoming academic session (from August). Moreover, if one has misplaced his / her marksheet and need it urgently, one can get the scanned copy of the same by logging on the web page.  He added the web page would not be just an information provider to the parents about the academic performance of their children. It would provide multiple benefits to the students also.
