Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) came into existence in 1964 under the aegis of the Government of Madhya Pradesh. It conducts various undergraduate as well as postgraduate level courses in different disciplines. Moreover, the University has been declared as ‘Center of Excellence’ by the State Government. At present, the University has 153 affiliated colleges all over India.
