Chandigarh: On Wednesday i.e. December 8, 2010, an official from the Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agriculture University (HAU) said that the university will offer its assistance for faster agriculture development in Nepal. As per sources, a delegation of eight members from Nepal visited HAU campus on Tuesday i.e. December 7, 2010.
Sources added that the delegation was headed by the Nepal Agricultural Research Council (NARC) executive director Bharat Prasad Upadhyay. The delegation visited the campus in order to see the agriculture and horticulture processes developed in the university. K S Khokhar, Vice Chancellor, HAU said that keeping in view the similarities in geographical, agricultural as also agro-climatic conditions of both the countries, HAU will extend full cooperation to Nepal.
