University of Hyderabad (UOH), also known as Hyderabad University, in Andhra Pradesh has announced the date of Post Graduate (PG) entrance exam 2010. It is an entrance test conducted for admission into the following disciplines of Post Graduate (PG) programmes, offered in the upcoming session 2010.
 
Courses
5-Year Integrated M.A., M.Sc. Courses :( 10 Semesters) (after +2 education) in Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences
PG Courses: (4/6 semesters) (after 10+2+3 education) in Sciences, Humanities, Social Sciences, Performing Arts, Fine Arts, Communication, Business Administration in Health Care and Hospital Management, Health Psychology and Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
Adv. PG Diploma and P.G Diploma (2 semesters) in Folk Culture Studies, Mineral Exploration, Counseling Psychology and Health Fitness and Life Style Management.
M.Tech Programmes: (4 semesters) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology (CS/AI/IT), Computational Techniques, Integrated Circuit Technology, Bioinformatics, Mineral Exploration and Materials
Engineering
M.Phil Programmes: (2 semesters) in Humanities and Social Sciences.
PhD Programmes: (2-5 years) in Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences
Integrated M Tech/PhD: Materials Engineering, Nano Science and Technology
M S c / PhD Biotechnology

How to Apply
i) Prospectus-cum-application forms can be downloaded from the website: http://www.uohyd.ernet.in/. Thereafter, the duly filled downloaded application form must be sent along with a DD of Rs 200 for each course in the case of General and OBC Category and Rs 75 for each course in the case of SC/ST/PH categories,to the Dy. Registrar (Acad. & Exams) University of Hyderabad, P.O. Central University, Hyderabad – 500 046 on or before the last date mentioned.
 
ii) Prospectus-cum-application forms can be obtained in person from the Academic Section, Office of the Controller of Examinations, Administration Building in the University Campus, Hyderabad – 500 046 against cash payment.
 
iii)Prospectus-cum-Application Form/s can also be obtained by ordinary post from the Dy. Registrar (Acad. & Exams), University of Hyderabad, P.O. Central University, Hyderabad – 500 046 by sending (a) a requisition, (b) one self-addressed adhesive sticker/slip, and (c) a crossed DD for the amount specified for the respective category i.e., Rs 450 in the case of General & OBC Category and Rs 200 in the case of SC/ST/PH categories for each copy of Prospectus-cum-Application Form which includes Rs 50 towards the ordinary postal charges, drawn in favor of the Finance Officer, University of Hyderabad, on State Bank of India, Hyderabad Central University Campus Branch, Hyderabad (Code 5916) or on Andhra Bank, Nampally Branch, Hyderabad (Code 378).
