Tiruchirapalli: M Sheik Mohamed, Principal of Jamal Mohamed College, has made an announcement that the Computerized Calligraphy Training Centre of the Department of Urdu of Jamal Mohamed College will conduct Certificate and Diploma courses in Functional Arabic, through correspondence mode. The last date for applying for the course is February 28, 2010. As per sources, the announcement was made during an official press meet conducted on February 20, 2010.
Mr Mohamed also mentioned that the courses were offered by the National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language, coming under the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi. The duration of the diploma course in Functional Arabic and Certificate course would be two years and one year, respectively. Further, he added that on the completion of the courses, the certificates would be issued by the Ministry of Human Resource Development.
