PDPU Announces B Tech Programme Admission 2011

Gandhinagar: Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) has announced admission into Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) programme, to be offered in the ensuing session 2011. Candidates who have passed Senior Secondary Examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are eligible to apply for the programme. B Tech programme is being offered in the following disciplines and in the below mentioned constituents of PDPU.

  • B Tech in Petroleum Engineering
 
School of Technology
  • B Tech in Civil Engineering
  • B Tech in Electrical Engineering
  • B Tech in Mechanical Engineering
  • B Tech in Chemical Engineering
  • B Tech in Industrial Engineering
 
Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of merits obtained by them in All India Engineering Entrance Examination 2011, popularly known as AIEEE, conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Details regarding application form will be made available in the university’s official website: http://www.pdpu.ac.in/, by the end of March 2011. Candidates desirous to pursue B Tech programme from PDPU must visit the aforementioned website for further details.
 
Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) was established in 2007 by GERMI as a Private University by an act of Gujarat State Legislature. It has been named after Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. It is a research-oriented university. The university was incepted with an aim to meet the demand for trained and specialized human resource for Oil & Gas Industry worldwide. It offers UG and PG energy education programs and intensive research initiatives.
