Ramjas College First Cut-Off List 2010

Ramjas College under University of Delhi has released its first-cut list for admission into its various undergraduate degree level programme, offered in the upcoming session 2010-11.
 
All the candidates who fall within the criteria are required to meet the concerned Department Teacher-in-Charge (Admission) between 10.00 am to 1.00 pm on June 23, June 24, and June 25, 2010. For any further detailed information one can visit the link given below:

be considered:-
a. It should have at least one language but not more than two languages.
b. It should have at least one discipline subject.
c. Vocational subjects are to be considered which has relevance to the subjects offered as an application course in B.A.(P) III year. These subjects being Commercial Arts, Computer related courses, Typing, Mass Communication and Creative Writing. However not more than two vocational subjects will be considered. 10% deduction of marks in the vocational subject will be considered for calculation of percentage in four best subjects.

Additional Information for Admission to B.A. (Hons) English Part I (2009-2010)
1. The qualifying language will be English Core/Functional/Elective for calculating the aggregate of the best four subjects.
2. Other than the subjects listed above, any other English Literature based subject will be awarded a positive weightage (i.e., will be treated at par with Eng Elective).
3. One vocational subject may be entered as an academic subject. The department will consider only
one of the following subjects as Vocational:
Fine Art
Dance
Music
Computer Science
Informatic Practices
Commercial Art
Painting
Education
Creative Writing and Translation Studies
 
However, a reduction of 10% in the subject marks will
be applied to a vocational subject.
4. An additional language, apart from English, may be
entered as an academic subject.
5. Apart from the compulsory language (English) applicants can include another language in their best three (including Elective English/Alternative English).
6. Physical Education should not be entered as one of the best four subjects.

B.A.(H) History
1) The eligibility for students of the Sciences and of Commerce will be a minimum of 87% in the aggregate.
2) The eligibility for students of the Humanities (Arts) will be a minimum of 77% in the aggregate.
3) These eligibility qualifications are further subjects to three conditions:
a) 60% in English will be essential qualification for all applications admitted to B.A. (Hons.) History Part I.
b) Applicants who have secured 75% or more in History, will be given a concession of 3% in the required aggregate.
c) The eligibility of applicants with subjects from more than one of the streams (i.e., Sciences, Commerce, Humanities/Arts) among their best 4 subjects will be determined by adjusting their marks in the non- Humanities/Arts papers in accordance with the criteria for the Humanities/Arts.
NOTE: Academic courses that do not have a “relationship with the main course opted by the students”, (BA (Hons.) History) will each be subject to a deduction of 10% from the total marks obtained in that subject, except in the case of Music and Dance which will be subject to a deduction of 5% from the total marks obtained in these subjects.
