RBI Officers Grade 'B' Recruitment 2010

Mumbai: Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has invited applications for the post of Officers in Grade B (General) - (Direct Recruitment - DR). Interested candidates can apply through both online and offline mode. Candidates desirous to apply online can visit the official link: http://onlinedr.rbi.org.in. Thereafter, candidates are required to take the printout of the online application form and send it along with a DD of Rs 100 (if required to pay fee) to Reserve Bank of India Services Board's Office (RBISB) by ordinary post.
 
Candidates who want to apply offline must apply in the Application format published in the official website. The application should be typed or neatly handwritten in Hindi or English on a good quality white foolscap size paper. Thereafter, the offline application or printout of the online application form should be sent to the General Manager, Reserve Bank of India Services Board, Post Bag Number 14501, Mumbai Central Post Office, Mumbai-400008. Candidates must write Application for the post of officers in Gr. B (General) - (DR) on top of the envelop containing the application form.
 
The last date of applying online is November 8, 2010 till 11.59 pm after which the link will be disabled. However, offline application form or the printout of the online application form should be submitted to the Board's office on or before November 15, 2010 before 6.00 pm. Candidates residing abroad or in far flung areas can send their application by post till November 22, 2010 before 6.00 pm.
 
Candidates will be selected on the basis of a written examination and interview. The test will be held in two phases. The first phase will be held on February 6, 2011. Whereas, phase II of the written examination will be held in May/June 2011 (tentative).
