Sambalpur University ties up with Aarhus University of Denmark

Bhubaneswar: Sambalpur University of Orissa has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Aarhus University of Denmark. Both the Universities have signed the MoU, with the objective to encourage higher education and research in different fields. According to Dr Rhab Scoda, Representative of Aarhus University the special feature of the MoU is that faculties of both the university would work in tandem and cooperate.
 
According to the MoU, Sambalpur University would get to choose a semester course from Denmark University and students from Aarhus University would also get to choose an elective course from the university. Further, the MoU would also facilitate faculty and student exchange programs, reformation of educational programs and improving language teaching through study tours.
 
Prof Arun K. Pujari, Vice Chancellor (VC) of Sambalpur University, said after the signing of the MoU that it would help in enhancing the knowledge base. The University would certainly benefit from the exchange programs. Moreover, the University would be particularly interested in sharing the knowledge where-in other universities are strong and would also like to share the knowledge where it is strong.
