SVU Conducts MBA Students Interaction Session Today

Tirupati: On March 29, 2010, Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) campus will witness the interaction between MBA students and CEOs, MDs and HR heads of various companies including ITC (PSPD Division), ICICI Prudential, Airtel, Karvy, AP Transco, Orchid Pharma and TMI group.
 
In a press released yesterday i.e. on Sunday, March 28, 2010, Prof N Prabhakar Rao SVU Vice-Chancellor made the announcement that SVU, CII and IIMA Alumni Association, Hyderabad Chapter have jointly organized a half-day career workshop called ‘CXO-advice’. During the event, top level officers from various companies would address MBA students and recently passed out MBAs from the region on jobs available in the industry.
 
Prof Rao has said that the workshop is conducted with an objective of helping increase the exposure of MBA students in the region and to facilitate industry-academia interaction. He also added that about 1500 students from more than 50 MBA colleges in and around Tirupati are expected to participate in the event.
 
Furthermore, Prof Rao also mentioned that speakers at the event will be Orchid Pharma MD K Raghavendra Rao, TMI group Chairman T Muralidharan and the main session would be presided over by Joint MD of AP Transco Umesh Sharraf. The Additional DGP of Andhra Pradesh and IIMA Alumni Association President S V Ramanamurthy and ITC-PSPD Division CEO Pradeep Dhobale would also address the students.
