25 Law Colleges in India to Accept LSAT-India 2011 Scores

Around 25 law colleges in India will accept the scores of LSAT-India 2011 for offering admissions in the academic session 2011. Date for the prestigious entrance test has also been announced. LSAT-India 2011 is scheduled to be held on April 30, 2011 at 17 cities across the country. The test will be conducted by Pearson VUE, the global leader in computer based testing for academic, professional and licensure examinations.
 
The examination will be conducted by Pearson VUE on behalf of Law School Admission Council (LSAC). Dan Bernstein, President, LSAC said that the Law School Admission Council created the LSAT-India specifically to serve the admission needs of India’s law schools and students. As an increasing number of India’s law schools adopt the test as their primary admission instrument, they expect the availability of testing sites to expand.
 
Further, Mr. Bernstein said that they are pleased to participate in this important effort to provide state-of-the-art law school admission measurement tools in India. Sarvesh Shrivastava, Managing Director, Asia Pacific, for Pearson VUE said that they are pleased to announce the LSAT-India for the 2011 admissions. Adoption of the LSAT-India by some of the most respected law colleges also is a testimonial to the Pearson VUE testing services, and they are sure of delivering a good quality and secure test as they have done in last two administrations.
 
Moreover, Mr. Shrivastava said that as part of their efforts to promote Law as a career, they will soon announce the Pearson Law Scholarships for the 2011 admissions year. As per sources, the test will be conducted at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Pune, Raipur and Ranchi.
