University of Allahabad, also known as Allahabad University in Uttar Pradesh, has invited applications from eligible candidates to register for Law Admission Test (LAT) 2011. LAT is an entrance test conducted for admission into the first year LLB (Bachelor of Law) Three Year (semester) degree course of the University of Allahabad and its constituent colleges namely CMP and ADC, offered in the upcoming session 2011-12.

June 7, 2011 Tuesday (8.30 am to 11.00 am)
Note: 1. Online Admit cards will be made available from May 15, 2011 onwards.
2. Candidates have to report for the examination half an hour prior i.e. at 8.00am.
How to Apply
Interested candidates may apply online as well as offline. To apply online, candidates may log on to the website: http://www.auadmission.in/ and fill in the online application. The application fee is Rs 600 (Rs 300 for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped candidates) which is to be paid in the form of SBI Challan (Challan can be downloaded from the abovementioned website). However, As regards acceptance of fees online Rs 30 per application is required to be deposited as Bank's commission by each applicant (all categories) which shall be collected by (any) accepting Branch. For this purpose, Online Test Account no. for LAT-2011, with the SBI-Allahabad University Branch is 31682691761.
In case of offline application, candidates may obtain the prospectus as well as application form from the State Bank of India, University of Allahabad Branch, Allahabad against a cash payment of Rs 600 (Rs. 300/- for SC/ST, Physically Handicapped candidates) from April 15,2011 to May 2, 2011 on all working days between 10.00am and 2.00pm. The duly filled application form should be submitted to the “specified counters of Law Faculty, Chaitham Lines, Allahabad University” latest by May 2, 2011 (between 11.00am to 2.00pm from April 15, 2011 to May 2, 2011 on all working days and up to 4.00pm on the last date.

Note: Only Foreign National and NRIs who have graduated from a foreign University are exempted from appearing in the Admission Test. They should contact directly to the authorities for their admission.
