Allahabad University PGAT (Post Graduate Admission Test) 2011

University of Allahabad (UOA), also known as Allahabad University in Uttar Pradesh, has invited applications from eligible candidates to register for Post Graduate Admission Test (PGAT) 2011. PGAT is an entrance test conducted for admission into the regular post graduate courses i.e. Master of Arts (MA)/ Master of Commerce (M Com)/ Master of Science (M Sc) programmes (in various disciplines), offered in the upcoming academic session 2011-12.

June 4, 2011 Saturday (7:00 am to 10:30 am)
June 5, 2011 Sunday (7:00 am to 9:00 am and 10:30 am to 11:30 am)
 
Note: All Admit Cards will be uploaded for all the valid applications by May 26, 2011

How to Apply
Interested candidates may apply online as well as offline.
 
To apply online: To apply online candidate can log on to the university’s official website: http://pgat2011.com/ and download the Challan of State Bank of India. The application fee is Rs 600 for general candidates and Rs 300 for SC/ST/PC candidates. The amount is too paid in the form of bank challan in any branch of State Bank of India. After depositing fees, bank will mention unique Receipt ID number in challan on all three copies (Bank copy, University copy and Student copy). Click on the online registration link given on the aforementioned website and fill in the challan details. Candidates are required to have a scanned copy of their coloured photograph and signature which will be needed while submitting the online form.
 
To apply offline: Candidates may obtain the OMR Forms and information brochure in person from Pravesh Bhawan,Chaitham Lines, University of Allahabad, Allahabad-21102 (UP) against a cash payment of Rs 600 for General/OBC candidates and Rs 300 for SC/ ST/ PH candidates. Applications are available on all days including holidays between 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. The duly filled in OMR form should be submitted before the last date mentioned.

Note: 1. Candidates are advised to read the instructions before filling up the application form.
 
2. One can download the admit cards from the official website by May 26, 2011.
 
3. The applicant is advised to get himself/herself photographed in such a manner, so that the photograph should bear the name of applicant clearly and size of photograph should not be more than the box specified in OMR Registration form. (3.0 X 3.5 cm)
