Ambedkar University Publishes Second Cut-Off List

New Delhi: Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) has published its second cut off list for admission into its undergraduate courses, to be offered in the session 2011. The social science aspirants who were disappointed with high cut off marks at Delhi University (DU) still have a chance.
 
The University’s cut off list witnessed a considerable dip especially for Delhiites. It is state university, therefore, 85% of its seats are for local students. The cut-offs for Economics have been slashed by 7% for Delhiites, other courses, such as English and Psychology, dipped by 6% and 4%, respectively.
 
This year, in the relatively new university, the enrollment ratio is better as compared to last year. The three most sought after undergraduate courses have been Economics, English and Psychology.
 
AR Khan, Dean, Student Services, AU, said that the third list, if any, will be announced on July 15. Further, he added that there is also some good news for those students who could not apply to the university in time. He said that this third list will also include the names of those students who couldn't apply to the university by the last date but fulfill the cut-off criteria.
