BHU's 93rd Convocation Scheduled on March 12

Varanasi: The 93rd convocation ceremony of Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is scheduled to be held on March 12, 2011. The ceremony will take place in Varanasi. As per sources, Mohammad Hamid Ansari would be the Chief Guest at the event. Whereas, B L Joshi, state Governor will be the special guest at the function, sources added.
 
Further, sources informed that the convocation ceremony will be lead by Dr. Karan Singh, BHU Chancellor. Nearly 7071 students would be honored at the event, which includes 4194 graduates, 2477 postgraduates and 400 research students, sources added.
