CBSE Announces CTET 2011 Results

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, has announced the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2011 results.  All those candidates who have appeared CTET 2011 can check results by visiting the given website: www.cbse.nic.in or www.cbseresults.nic.in
 
As per directives of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi conducted the first Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2011 on June 26, 2011. Total of 794080 candidates registered, 715050 candidates appeared and 97919 qualified either for Paper I/ II or both at All India level as per details given below:

The CTET-2011 was conducted in 1178 centres at 84 cities across the country and 2 cities abroad. CTET was conducted to enroll eligible candidates as teachers in the schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Tibetan Schools etc.), unaided private schools and schools owned as well as maintained by the state Government/local bodies [as State Government can also consider the CTET if it decides not to conduct the State Teacher Eligibility Test (TET)].
