Dibrugarh University B Ed CET (Common Entrance Test) 2011 Notification

Dibrugarh University in Dibrugarh, Assam, has invited applications from eligible candidates for appearing in the B Ed Common Entrance Test (CET), also known as B Ed CET.  It is a common entrance test conducted for admission into the B Ed (Bachelor of Education) courses in its affiliated colleges / institutes, in the upcoming session 2011.

Note: The result of Entrance test will be declared on July 4, 2011.
 
Test Centers
The CET 2011 will be conducted at the following centers:
  • Dibrugarh University
  • Govt. Post Graduate Training College, Jorhat
  • College of Teacher Education, Golaghat
  • Lakhimpur P.G.T. College, North Lakhimpur
  • Dhemaji P.G.T. College, Dhemaji
  • College of Teacher Education, Tinsukia

How to Apply
Interested candidates may obtain the Information Brochure as well as the application form from the Office of the Deputy Registrar (Academic), Dibrugarh University on payment of Rs 100 only in the University Cash Counter or from the Office of the Principal of the B Ed Colleges under Dibrugarh University on payment of Rs 100 only. One can get the application form through post by sending a requisition accompanied by a self-addressed stamped (of Rs 5) envelope of 11cm x 24cms size only along with a Bank Draft. The Bank Draft must be of Rs 100 and should only be drawn in favour of “Registrar, Dibrugarh University” in State Bank of India, Dibrugarh University Branch (Code No. 2051).
 
However, one can also download the application form from the University’s official website: http://www.dibru.ac.in/. Duly filled and completed application along with the Bank Draft (in case of downloaded form) and necessary enclosures (list of needed enclosure documents is given on the abovementioned website) should be submitted to the “Office of the Deputy Registrar (Academic), Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh - 786 004” latest by May 16, 2011. For more information about the application, eligibility criteria and admission procedures, candidates are advised to visit the aforementioned official website of the University.
 
Note: The University authorities will however not be responsible for non-delivery/late delivery of forms sent by post.
