DTU Publishes its First Cut-off list

New Delhi: Delhi Technological University (DTU), earlier known as Delhi College of Engineering, has published its first cut off list for admission into its B Tech courses, offered in the session 2011.
 
DTU has announced its first cut-off list for admission into its 15 B Tech courses. This year, the University has introduced online admission system under which the candidates were required to register online. For a total of 1,218 seats available in DTU, 10,827 candidates have registered for the online counseling.  
 
The University offers admission on the basis of candidates’ all India merit rank in AIEEE 2011. Moreover, the University reserves 15% seats for candidates from outside Delhi, while 85% seats are reserved for Delhi aspirants.
 
Sources has revealed that as per the DTU cut-off list, students between 55 to 2,297 AIEEE ranks can opt for enrolling for computer engineering, while those between 562 and 3,608 ranks can apply for electronics and communication engineering. Moreover, those ranked between 89 and 4,905 can seek admission into the most sought after branch of Mechanical engineering.
