EAMCET 2011 Date Postponed

Hyderabad: The date of Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test 2011, also known as EAMCET) has been postponed. Now, EAMCET 2011 will be conducted on May 22, 2011. Earlier, the examination was scheduled to be conducted on May 8, 2011.
 
According to the sources, the EAMCET-2011 examination date has been postponed due to the by-elections at KADAPA region. The decision to postpone EAMCET 2011 was taken during an emergency meeting of AP State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad, on 31st March, 2011 - Convener, EAMCET-2011.
 
Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Common Entrance Test 2011, popularly known as EAMCET, is a combined entrance test conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNT) University, Hyderabad, on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). This examination is the gateway for entry into various professional courses offered in Government/Private Colleges in Andhra Pradesh.
