Girls Outshine Boys in CBSE Medical Prelims

New Delhi: This year, in the All India Medical and Dental Entrance Test conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)girls have surpassed boys in performance. More number of girls than boys has have cracked the medical preliminary exam.
 
All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Preliminary Examination (AIPMT) result was declared on Thursday i.e. on April 14, 2011. As per sources, a total of 26,060 students cleared the exam out of 207,590 students who appeared in the exam. While 13,229 girls have cleared the exam, the number of boys is 12,831.
 

Furthermore, the official also informed that the result of All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Preliminary Examination, 2011 held on April 3, 2011 (Sunday) has been declared. 26,060 candidates have qualified for appearing in the final stage examination which would be held on May 15, 2011.
