Haryana Agricultural University Inks MoU with University of Western Australia

Chandigarh: Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (CCSHAU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with University of Western Australia (UWA). As per sources, the MoU has been signed in order to enhance mutual collaboration and cooperation. Further, sources informed that Professor K S Khokhar, Vice-Chancellor, CCSHAU and Professor Alan Robson, Vice-Chancellor, UWA inked the pact.
 
Professor Khokhar told the sources that the agreement would be in force for a period of five years. He added that the agreement would encourage exchange of faculty, students, academic material and information apart from joint research activities, including conferences and academic meetings. In addition, he said that under the agreement, all collaborative programmes or activities would be initiated with the consent of each university, whereas, in the absence of any specific agreement to the contrary, all expenses of salary, living and allied costs would be determined at the discretion of the visitor's home university.
