IIM-K Secures AMBA Accreditation

New Delhi: Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM-K), recently, has been accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA). IIM K is third B-school in the nation to be accredited by AMBA. Presently, IIM-K joins the company of MDI Gurgaon and SP Jain Institute of Management Research as AMBA-accredited B-schools.

Dr. Debashis Chatterjee, Director, IIM-K, has said that he is happy that IIM-K has secured its first international accreditation certification. He said that this recognition puts them on par with the very best in the global management hub. He added that they will move forward as an institution that focuses on excellence and thought leadership. Mr Chatterjee also added that IIM-K will play a significant role to catalyze India’s growth as a knowledge hub for the world in the coming years.

As per sources, while commenting on this development, Mr. A. Thothathri Raman, Chairman, SEAA Trust, has said that it is a pleasure and privilege to know that Association of MBAs has certified yet another B-school in the country. He added that there would certainly be more schools that would qualify for international accreditation in the country. SEAA had worked closely with Association of MBAs to introduce their process in the country.
