Indian Institute of Technology Bhubneswar (IIT- Bhubaneswar), Orissa, has issued the notification for admission into PhD Programme in the following categories, to be conducted in the session 2011.
 
a. Regular full-time scholars with Institute fellowship.
b. Research scholars sponsored by and employed in the industry/organization having R&D facilities.

2) School of Earth, Ocean & Climate Sciences
3) School of Electrical Sciences (Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering)
4) School of Humanities, Social Sciences and Management
5) School of Infrastructure (Civil Engineering)
6) School of Mechanical Sciences (Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical & Materials Engineering)

How to apply
Interested candidates can download the application form from the institute’s official website: www.iitbbs.ac.in. The same can also be obtained from the Academic Section of IIT Bhubaneswar against a DD on any working day. The duly filled downloaded application form should be submitted with a DD of Rs. 200 (Rs. 100 for SC/ST candidates) drawn in favour of IIT Bhubaneswar on any nationalized bank payable at Bhubaneswar. Applicants are requested to superscribe Application for Admission to PhD programme on the envelope. For any further details regarding the admission and application procedure, one can visit the institute’s aforementioned official website.
 
Note: Incomplete applications, applications without relevant supporting documents, applications without prescribed Demand Draft, and applications not on prescribed form will be out rightly rejected and no correspondence in this regard shall be entertained. The institute will not be responsible for any postal delay.
