The official statistics has revealed that there are 45 faculty members for nearly 488 students, which include research scholars, in the campus. Besides, if the student-teacher ratio is considered, it is still far from the best at 1:8. At present, the ratio is 1:11 at IIT-Ropar with five faculty members having left recently.
