JIMS Witnesses a Beeline of Hiring Firms This Season

New Delhi: This year, the Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS) is witnessing a beeline of companies during the ongoing campus recruitment at its Rohini Sector-5 campus. Untill now, 117 companies have visited the campus who have offered lucrative deals to its PG Diploma in Management (PGDM) batch of 2009-2011.
 
A total of around 169 students have been hired so far in renowned companies such as TCS Ltd., L&T Finance, Reckitt & Benckiser, CRISIL, Thomson Press, Berger Paints, Mudra Communications, Naukri.com, ITC Group etc. Besides, both nationalized and private sector banks have recruited a large number of students. The name of such banks include the State Bank of India, Oriental Bank of Commerce, PNB Bank, Bank of Baroda, ICICI Bank, Citi Bank, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank and ING Vysya Bank. The top offers were offered by Oriental Bank of Commerce, TCS and L&T Finance with students receiving annual pay packages of up to Rs 7.6 lac.
 
It is considered to be turning point of the year, as numerous national as well as multinational companies came to hire JIMS management cadre. Some of the leading names among the other recruiters visiting JIMS were GlaxoSmithKline, Camlin Ltd, Shiksha.Com, Capital IQ, Deloitte Consulting India Private Limited, Grail Research, Capital IQ, VIP Indutries Ltd., Daffodil Software Ltd, Grasim Industries Limited, Syntel Inc, S&S Associate, Infra Line Energy Pvt. Ltd, ICICI Securities, Starwood Asia Pacific Hotels and Resort Pvt. Ltd, Next Education, Advert Communication, KPMG, Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Mirus Soultions etc.
