LBSIM’s Dwarka Campus Inaugurated

New Delhi: Dwarka campus of Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management (LBSIM) was inaugurated by the President of India Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil. As per sources, Mrs. Patil disclosed the statue of former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri at the institute campus. Further, sources informed that Delhi's Chief Minister Mrs. Sheila Dikshit was also presented at the occasion.
 
In addition, sources told that LBSIM Chairman Anil Shastri was also there at the inaugural ceremony. The occasion was addressed by Mrs. Dikshit, sources added. While addressing the occasion, she spoke about the humbleness and simplicity of Lal Bahadur Shastri and advised the students to develop the same values and morals in their lives. Mrs. Patil (the President) delivered a speech on the occasion.
 
Mrs. Patil said that that it was heartening to know that the institution had been established 15 years ago and has been imparting management education and also attained a good reputation. In addition, she said that with surety that the new campus with its many facilities would enable the institute to further progress in its endeavor to become a centre of excellence for education and research in the fields of management and technology.
 
Sources informed that at the end of speech, Mrs. Patil wished the institute, its director, staff and students the very best for the future. She also expressed her confidence that the institution would keep alive the legacy of Lal Bahadur Shastri, sources added.
