UGC NET Exam on Dec 24 at Jamia Millia Islamia

New Delhi: Jamia Millia Islamia, popularly known as JMI, New Delhi, will be organizing the UGC NET exam tomorrow i.e. on Saturday, December 24, 2011. University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test, commonly referred to as UGC NET, is conducted solely for Indian nationals by National Educational Testing Bureau of University Grant Commission (UGC) to determine the eligibility for lectureship and award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).
 
As per sources, the total number of candidates appearing for the UGC NET exam is 30943, in 65 different subjects. The examination is scheduled to start at 9.30 am and end at 4.00 pm. In order to conduct the examination smoothly, Jamia has designated 45 centers, with 13 centers at JMI and 32 centers outside the university campus, spread across different parts of the capital city.
