AIIMS Postpones AIPGMEE 2012 Result

New Delhi: All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), has postponed the results of All India Postgraduate Medical / Dental Entrance Examination 2012, also known as AIPGMEE. Earlier the results were scheduled to be published today i.e. on February 15, 2012.
 
As per the notification issued by AIIMS, the results have been postponed due to the IA filed before Hon’ble Supreme Court of India by Directorate General of Health Services. The IA has been filed for seeking permission to on-line counselling (on-line seat allotment) in place of counselling by personal appearance and increasing number of candidate allotment process.
 
Further, the notification stated that in connection to the IA filed, the result of AIPGMEE 2012 will be declared in due course of time after getting approval from the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. AIPGMEE is conducted for admission under 50% seats quota in various postgraduate (PG) MD / MS / Diploma & MDS courses in Medical and Dental Colleges across India, run by the Union of India, State Governments (except Government of Andhra Pradesh and J&K) and Municipal or other local authorities).
