Allahabad University Issues LFAT 2012 Notification

University of Allahabad, popularly known as Allahabad University, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, has invited applications from eligible candidates for Law Faculty Admission Test 2012, also known as LFAT. LFAT is an entrance test being conducted by the University for admission into Bar Council of India (BCI) approved five-year integrated Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Law (BA LLB) Honors programme. The programme will be offered at the University’s Law Faculty, in the ensuing session 2012. Admission will be made on the basis of merit in the entrance test, followed by counseling, to be held at the University’s Pravesh Bhawan.

LFAT-2012 will be conducted on May 29, 2012 from 9.00 am to 11.00 am

How to Apply
Interested candidates may apply for LFAT either online or offline by following any of the below mentioned procedures:
 
Online Application: Interested candidates can fill up the application form made available on the official website of the University: http://www.auadmission.co.in/. An application fee of Rs 1200 (Rs 600 for SC / ST / PH candidates) should be paid by the candidates either through “Bank Challan” or “Demand Draft”.
  • Through Bank Challan: After filling up the application form, one will get an Application ID and Bank Challan (triplets) which should be used for the payment of application fee. Candidates can pay the application fee from any State Bank of India (SBI) branch on producing the triplets (Student Copy, University Copy, and Bank Copy) of Bank Challan and Application ID. After making the payment, one will get Student Copy, which should be submitted along with the print-out of the duly filled-in application form to: Director Admission, Pravesh Bhawan, Chatham Lines, University of Allahabad, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh.
  • Through Demand Draft: In case of payment of application fee through DD, one must obtain a DD of Rs 1200 (Rs 600 for SC / ST / PH candidates) drawn in favor of “Finance Officer, University of Allahabad” payable at Allahabad. The DD should be attached along with the duly filled in printed copy of the application form and sent to: Director Admission, Pravesh Bhawan, Chatham Lines, University of Allahabad, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh.
Offline Application:
Interested candidates may obtain the application form directly from the University’s “Pravesh Bhawan” on all working days (including holidays) between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm by paying Rs 1200 (Rs 600 for SC / ST / PH candidates) in cash. The duly filled-in application form (OMR) complete in all respect should be sent to: Director Admission, Pravesh Bhawan, Chatham Lines, University of Allahabad, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh on or before the below mentioned last date of submission of application form.

Note:
  • Candidates can download their admit card from May 8, 2012 onwards.
  • Admission counseling will commence from June 15, 2012 onwards.
