Calcutta University Counseling / Admission Schedule for BA LLB Programme 2012 Published

Kolkata: University of Calcutta, also known as Calcutta University, Kolkata, West Bengal, has published the counseling / admission schedule for BA LLB (Bachelor of Arts Bachelor of Laws) programme. The schedule has been issued on the University’s official website: http://www.caluniv.ac.in/. The direct link for the same is: http://www.caluniv.ac.in/admission%20notice/counselling-law1.pdf.
 
As per the notification issued by the University, the Department of Law will conduct the counseling on the below mentioned date(s) as per the ranks secured by the candidates in the entrance test.
  • July 4, 2012 - for all candidates belonging to SC / ST / PH categories
  • July 5, 2012 - for general category candidates between Rank 1 and 500
  • July 6, 2012 - for general category candidates between Rank 501 and 1100
  • July 7, 2012 - for general category candidates securing Rank 1101 and above
The counseling will be conducted at Department of Law, University of Calcutta, Hazra Law Campus, 51/, Hazra Road, Kolkata, West Bengal - 700 019. Counseling / admission process will discontinue as soon as all seats are filled up.
 
Further, candidates are advised to bring their admit card of BA LLB Entrance Test 2012, original admit card and mark sheet of class 10th and 12th, along with them for the counseling / admission process. Candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC / ST / PH) will be required to produce their category certificate issued from the competent authority.
 
All candidates will have to pay a counseling fee of Rs 1000 (non-refundable) at the time of counseling which will be adjusted by the institution concerned at the time of admission.
