Dehradun: Himalayan Institute of Hospital Trust University, well known as HIHT University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, has extended the last date of PMEE (Pre Medical Entrance Examination) 2012 and its application. Now, the entrance examination will be held on June 5, 2012 and candidates can submit their application till April 21, 2012. Earlier the examination was slated on June 1, 2012 and the last date of application was April 6, 2012. PMEE (Pre Medical Entrance Examination) is a state level medical entrance examination, conducted by HIHT University for admission into MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) programme. As per entrance test merit, candidates are selected and offered admission in Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences.
Interested candidates may obtain the prescribed application forms from Ramesh Book Depot, Moti Bazar, Dehradun and all major Book Shops in major cities. In addition, application forms can also be obtained in person from Office of the Controller of Examination, HIHT University, Swami Ram Nagar, PO, Doiwala, Dehradun, Uttarakhand- 248140.
Application form is also available at the University Office, NIL 24A, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi. Candidates can get the application form along with admission brochure by depositing Rs 1200 in cash or through DD drawn in favor of HIHT University, payable at State Bank of India, Jolly Grant (Bank Code No. 10580), Dehradun. One can also obtain the same through post by sending DD (drawn in the prescribed format) of Rs 1250 to any of the abovementioned offices.
