Hazratbal: Faculty of Biological Sciences, University of Kashmir, also known as Kashmir University, Srinagar, has announced the date for entrance test for admission into M Phil (Master of Philosophy) / PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy) course in the following subjects, to be offered in the session 2012.
Admission is being offered in the respective PG (Post Graduate) departments and other recognized research centers of the University (viz. CORD University of Kashmir and Department of Biochemistry, Government Medical College Srinagar). The entrance test schedule is as follows:
- Zoology & Bio-Technology - August 28, 2012
- Botany & Bio-Chemistry - August 30, 2012
As per the notification issued by the University department, the examination will start at 10.00 am in the Humanities Block Centre No. (01 & 02) of University of Kashmir campus. In addition, the admit cards will be made available for eligible candidates to download from August 16, 2012 onwards.
Note: NET / SET qualified candidates stand exempted from the entrance test for M Phil course. However, for direct PhD, they shall have to appear in the scheduled entrance test.
