NIT Agartala to Organize 4th Convocation on Feb 10

Agartala: The 4th convocation ceremony of National Institute of Technology (NIT) Agartala, Tripura, is scheduled to be held on February 10, 2012 in the afternoon. All the students of B Tech and M Tech who passed out from NIT Agartala in the year 2011 will be conferred degrees during the ceremony.
 
As per the notification issued by the Institute, Hon'ble Union Minister of Human Resource Development, Sri Kapil Sibal, will grace the event as Chief Guest. In addition, Dr. D.Y. Patil, His Excellency the Governor of Tripura; Sri Manik Sarkar, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tripura; and Professor U R Rao, former Chairman ISRO, Bangalore, will also be present in the convocation.
 
All the students of B Tech and M Tech who passed out from National Institute of Technology Agartala in year 2011 are advised to attend the Convocation in time and obtain their degree. However, in order to attend the ceremony, candidates are required to register their candidature online (by visiting the Institute’s website: http://www.nitagartala.in/) or offline on payment of fee of Rs 450 not later than February 9, 2012.
