Gurgaon: Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI), Haryana, has invited applications from Indian citizens for admission into PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy) programme in Biomedical Science at Osaka University, Japan. As per the notification issued by the institute, the said PhD programme is being offered at Graduate School of Medicine, Osaka University, Japan, for the academic year 2013. In addition, all applicants will be screened by compliance at THSTI, and then interviewed by THSTI selection committee.
Details of the interdisciplinary programme for biomedical sciences (IPBS) are available at Osaka University's official website: http://www.med.osaka-u.ac.jp/index-e.html. As far as eligibility criteria is concerned, candidates must hold (or expect to complete by September 30, 2013) a Master's degree or equivalent in Life Sciences, Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Science or Pharmaceutical Sciences. In addition, the candidates must possess a valid TOEFL (more than or equal to 600) or IELTS (more than or equal to 6.5) score.

- Cover letter, CV, recent passport size photograph and a statement of scientific intent and ability
- Letters of recommendation from academic only (at least two)
