UTU - CLAT 2012 Date Postponed

Dehradun: Uttarakhand Technical University, Uttarakhand, has postponed the date of Common Law Admission Test 2012, popularly known as UTU CLAT to June 24, 2012 (Sunday) from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm IST. Earlier, the UTU-CLAT 2012 was scheduled to be conducted on May 20, 2012.
 
As per the notification issued by the University, the exam date has been rescheduled due to students’ demand. In addition to that, the last date of application form submission which was earlier May 5, 2012, has also been extended to June 5, 2012. Though, other terms and conditions for the entrance test remain same.
 
However, the details of center with the Roll number shall be intimated to the prospective candidates on their e-mail in between June 10, 2012 to June 15, 2012. UTU-CLAT is an entrance test conducted for admission into various undergraduate (UG) and post graduate (PG) programmes, such as BA LLB, BBA LLB (5 years) LLB (3 years) and LLM (2 years), to be offered in the below mentioned constituent institutes, in the ensuing session 2012.

  • Shakuntala Law College, Dehradun
  • Selaqui Law College, Dehradun
Interested candidates can either download the prescribed application form or apply online by filling in the online application made available on the University’s official website: http://www.uktech.ac.in/law. The application fee is Rs 1500 (Rs 1000 for SC / ST candidates) which is to be paid in the form of DD drawn in favor of “Finance Controller UTU” payable at Dehradun.
 
The duly filled-in application form along with the DD and other requisite enclosure documents, should be sent to “Registrar UTU, Govt. Girls Polytechnic, Chandanwari, Siddhowwala, Prem Nagar, Dehradun – 248007” latest by June 5, 2012. For any more details about the entrance test and application procedures, candidates are requested to visit the University’s aforementioned official website.
