From the session 201314, the Aligarh Muslim University has re-introduced the one-year Advanced Diploma in Environmental Engineering (ADEE) programme.
According to a press release by the University, on the recommendation of the Principal, University Polytechnic and the Dean, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, the Vice Chancellor has approved the re-introduction of Advanced Diploma in Environmental Engineering (ADEE) course form the session 2013-12 on behalf Academic Council.
The University will offer the Advanced Diploma in Environmental Engineering (ADEE) is a programme with a total intake of 20 students. Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written entrance test followed by an interview. The Entrance test and Interview is scheduled to be held on June 30, 2013 (10.00 am onwards). There will be one written paper of one hour duration consisting of 50 objective type questions.
The eligibility prescribed is for admission into the programme is –
Diploma in Engineering with First Division in Civil/Civil-Construction / Mechanical / Architectural Assistantship / Chemical / Environmental / Drafting & Designing (Civil) / Drafting & Designing (Mechanical) / Mech. - Production / Mech. Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
BSc (Science) / B Sc Life Science with not less than 55 % marks in aggregate.
Interested candidates can obtain the application in person from the University’s counter against a cash receipt of Rs 300. The application form can also be obtained from by post from the University against a Demand Draft drawn in favor of Finance Officer, AMU Aligarh. The last date of receipt of Application form will be June 10, 2013.
