Anna University to Hold 33rd Annual Convocation

Chennai: The Anna University, located in Tamil Nadu, is all set to celebrate its 33rd annual convocation ceremony on March 8, 2013. The ceremony will be conducted at the Vivekananda Auditorium, College of Engineering, Guindy Campus, Anna University, Chennai- 60025. As per the notification issued by the University, all PhD degree holders and first rank holders of full time BE / B Tech / B Arch degree programmes, offered at University departments and affiliated colleges, will be awarded degrees as well as gold medals in-person, during the Convocation.
 
The University will send admit cards to all candidates individually, who are eligible to receive their degrees in-person. In addition, it is also notified that the list of all first rank holders of full time BE / B Tech / B Arch degree programmes has been already made available on University’s official website: http://www.annauniv.edu/, and also communicated to the respective colleges. However, it is further informed that all other candidates who are awaiting their degrees will receive their respective degrees, in-absentia. For any further clarifications regarding convocation, procedure of in-person or in-absentia distribution of Degrees, students should contact their respective colleges Principals and the controller of Examinations, Anna University, Chennai, at email ID: coe@annauni.edu.
