Calcutta University Notifies Admission 2013 for PhD Programme in Commerce

Department of Commerce, University of Calcutta, popularly known as Calcutta University, West Bengal, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) programme in Commerce, to be offered in the upcoming session 2013. Admissions will be made on the basis of candidates' performance in the written examination and personal interview, to be conducted by the University department.
 
Note: Candidates who have already passed SET / SLET / M Phil / M Tech or equivalent, need not appear for the admission test but are required to appear for the interview, to be conducted by the University.
 
Date of Exam
The written entrance exam is scheduled to be held on April 5, 2013 (from 12.00 noon to 2.00 pm).

How to Apply
Interested candidates are required to download the prescribed application format, from the University’s official website: http://www.caluniv.ac.in/. The application fee  for the above mentioned programme is Rs 100, which can be paid through a challan (obtainable from the University). The duly filled in application form, along with all the requisite documents (details given on the website), must be submitted to the Head, Department of Commerce, University of Calcutta latest by March 8, 2013.
