DU (South Campus) PhD Programme in Business Economics Admission July 2013

DU (South Campus) has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) programme in Business Economics, to be offered at the Department of Business Economics, in the ensuing session commencing from July 2013. Selection will be made on the basis of candidates performance in written examination, followed by interview, to be conducted by the admission committee of the University on the below mentioned date.
 
Date of Exam
Written test and interview will be held on May 6, 2013. Timing for written test is 9: 30 am to 10: 30 am. However, interview of the selected candidates will be conducted from 12:00 pm onwards.

How to Apply
Interested candidates may obtain the application form from the office of the Board of Research, Faculty of Applied Sciences and Humanities, Department of Business Economics, Room No: 229, Arts Faculty Building, University of Delhi, South Campus, Benito Juarez Marg, Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi - 110021, from Monday to Friday, between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm. Moreover, application form can also be downloaded from the official website of Department of Business Economics: http://www.mbe-du.org/.
 
The application form or the hard copy of the downloaded form complete in all respects along with a research proposal of around ten typed pages should be submitted on or before April 26, 2013. For more information regarding the admission, eligibility criteria and application procedure, candidates can visit the aforementioned website of the University's Department of Business Economics.
 
Note: The research proposal will be accepted in following areas of study: Business Enterprise focus study - SME, innovation, cluster etc, Labour Economics, Industrial Economics, Development Issues and Macro Issues-FDI, Foreign Capital, Mergers, Inflation, Environmental Economics, Resource Economics, Climate Change and Energy Economics, Economics of waste, Informal sector and Industry.
