LLB Admissions Commence in Brahmanand Degree College

The admission in LLB course starts in Brahmanand Degree College (BND) after obtaining affiliation from Bar Council of India (BCI) on October 4th, 2013. Due to the expired affiliation the college was not included in LLB counseling by CSJM University.

Vivek Dwivedi, Prinicipal, BND, said the admission process has started after obtaining the affiliation from BCI and some seats are still vacant. Interested students can apply for the same till October 20th, 2013, which is the last date for admissions.

Students above 30 years can take admission in LLB course only in the next academic session; they are presently not being considered. By then the college would receive intimation from the University in this matter.

The Bar Council of India lifted the ban in the state of not permitting the state universities to admit students of 30 years above in LLB course. Kanpur University is yet to be informed in writing from BCI. Once the university gets the information in writing from BCI, it would permit degree colleges to take admission of all those candidates interested in studying law at the graduate level.
