Rajasthan University Colleges Declare Final Cut-off Lists

Jaipur: The Maharani's and Maharaja's Colleges of Rajasthan University issued the final cut-off lists for admissions to the popular courses on Saturday i.e. July 14, 2013. The Maharani's College declared the cut-off for two sections of B Com under the self-finance course (SFS). The cut-off for this course was set at 92 per cent.
 
As per sources, the cut-off list for the remaining three sections of B Com will be released today. Vidya Jain, principal of Maharani's College, speculated that the cut-off for the rest of the sections is likely to be below 87 per cent. The college will also issue the final cut-off for newly added sections, BSC and BA, today.
 
According the information, at Maharani’s College, about 95 per cent of total seats have been already occupied and the classes have also started. The students who have applied under the SFS courses have to pay complete fees. The college is going to release soon the cut-off lists for its recently created SFS sections. Out of 5 new SFS sections, three sections have been added to B Com course, one for B Sc course and one for BA course.
 
However, the seats have been completely filled at Maharaja’s College. The final cut-off announced by the college reduced between 0.2% and 1%. The final cut-off for B.Sc-Bio was set at 71.02 per cent and for B.Sc-Maths at 81.8 per cent. While declaring the closing of admission procedure for 2013 season, DC Jain, principal of Maharaja's College, said our college has filled 100% seats after the third list was announced.
 
Furthermore, Rajasthan University has imposed restriction on the entry of boys in Maharani's College till next order. This restriction order has been issued by the university after Maharani’s College principal Vidya Jain's complaint on how boys enter the college and create ruckus leading to law and order problem.
