10 Lakh Students for AIEEE 2009

New Delhi: Approximate 10 lakh aspirants are expected to appear for the AIEEE 2009 Exam across the country on April 26, being conducted by the Central Broad of Secondary Education (CBSE) New Delhi, for admission into the BE and B Tech programs in the engineering institutes across India.
 
As per a CBSE issued press release, admit cards have already been issued and sent to the candidates who applied for it. Candidates, who have not yet received the cards, can approach the board office for a duplicate admission card. The board has shortlisted a total of 1460 examination centers throughout the India and a few in the abroad countries.
 
The board has decided to introduce bilingual question paper in English as well as in Hindi this year. According to sources, about eight lakh students appeared for the exam last year but the number has gone up this year.
