Jaipur: Approximately, sixty-seven B Ed (Bachelor of Education) colleges of the total of seventy-eight are now recognized colleges in the state of Rajasthan. All these colleges are granted affiliation on Board of Inspection's (BoI) nod. These colleges are affiliated for the current session, based on the old rules of the inspection report, after a careful scrutiny of the Board.
As per sources, the Board, however, has allowed students to sit for the exams this year by imposing fines on unaffiliated colleges on the basis of inadequate staff, lecturers etc. According to the BoI members, the verification of documents of B Ed colleges is pending, at the administrative level. Their affiliation might not be approved, if the required issues are not settled. The decision remains pending for the inspection report submitted on the last days in the BoI meeting.
