CET Law 2009 counselling session will begin from July 27, 2009 and continue till July 30, 2009. The counselling session is conducted after declaration of the result of the entrance test.
Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) in Amritsar conducts the state level Common Entrance Test for Law, popularly known as CET LAW. It is conducted for admission into the Five years B A LLB (Hons), Five years B A LLB and Three years LLB law courses offered in the institutes situated in Punjab and affiliated to Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Panjab University, Chandigarh and Punjabi University, Patiala. Candidates appearing in the counselling for admission will have to pay (non-refundable) a fee of Rs 2500.
Eligibility: Candidates hopeful of getting admission into the Five years B A LLB (Hons), Five years B A LLB and Three years LLB law courses must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent form a recognized university with a minimum of 45 % marks (40% in case of SC / ST and OBC candidates) in aggregate.
Reservation: Admission to the 85 percent of the seats will be reserved for the residents of Punjab State and 15 percent seats will be open to all candidates of other states / Union Territory on All-India basis.
